On our last family vacation to the South Shore, our beach house neighbors were getting rid of the most fabulous peacock chair. It was just sitting all lonely on their gravel drive with a “free” sign taped to it. My eyes were undoubtedly as wide as saucers when I spotted it and J didn’t hesitate to help load it into our already-packed SUV. I’m so glad we found this fun piece and to make it feel more custom, I asked the most talented Cheryl, of Pillow Loft Home Decor, to create a cushion made of classic striped ticking (c/o). I love how the cushion gives a more buttoned-up feel to the otherwise bohemian chair.
